Whatever your anxieties and trials, spread out your case before the Lord. Your spirit will be braced for endurance. The way will be opened 4 u to disentangle yourself from embarrassment and difficulty. The weaker and more helpless u know yourself 2 b,the stronger will u become in his strength. The heavier ur burdens, the more blessed the rest in casting them upon the burden bearer.
Keep ur wants,ur joys,ur sorrows,ur cares, and ur fears b4 God. You cannot burden Him; u cannot weary Him. He who numbers the hairs of ur head is not indifferent 2 the wants of His children, 'the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.' james 5:11. His heart of love,is touched by sorrows and even by our utterance of them. Take to Him everything that perplexes the mind. Nothing is too great for Him to bear 4 He holds up worlds, He rules over all the affairs of the universe.
Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small 4 Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read!!! There is no perplexity too difficult 4 Him to unravel. No calamity can befall the least of His children,no anxiety harass the soul,no joy cheer,no sincere prayer escapes the lips,of which God is unobservant,or in which He takes no immediate interest. 'He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.' psalm 147:3. The relations between God and each soul ard as distinct and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watchcare, not another soul for whom He gave His beloved son." Quote
In many cases, the missing element in prayer is confidence. But why do people lack confidence in prayer? Because they do not know the will of God concerning their prayer request. God’s will is simply another way of describing what God wants to have happen. It is what He desires for our lives as outlined in His Word. If we do not know God’s will for our lives, we will tolerate the life we have when it could be so much better.
There are only two places to go to discover what God wants for our lives—the Bible and His presence. When we pray, our prayers must line up with His Word. The only prayer that God will hear and answer is a prayer that is based on what He has said in His Word. If we pray according to the Word of God, then we are praying the will of God. We can only have confidence in our prayers when we know that what we’re praying for is something that God desires to bring to pass.
People often get confused and frustrated because they do not know what God has already said in His Word. How can someone pray for healing when they do not know God wants them to be healed? How can we believe God for an increase in our finances if we do not know God wants us to prosper? The truth is—we cannot. When we do not know what God has said about our situation, our prayers will be fear-based and they will not get results.
The beauty of prayer is its simplicity. Prayer is simply saying to God what He has already said in His Word. This protects us from getting off into areas that are not the will of God. Moreover, the Bible covers every problem that you will ever have. We can read it and find out what God’s Word has to say about our bills, our marriage and our children? When we do, our prayers will be effective.
Many people cancel out their prayers, once they have prayed according to the Word, because they look to their circumstances to see if anything has happened right away. However, just because the problem or situation hasn’t immediately changed, it should not hinder our confidence that God has heard and answered the prayer we prayed according to His Word.
Finally, the most powerful prayer comes from the heart of a person who knows that God loves him or her enough to answer the request they have made. It is ridiculous to think prayer will yield results if we do not believe the God we are praying to, first of all, loves us. Even in the natural, a child who doubts his or her parents’ love will be hesitant to ask for or expect things from them.
God loves you and gave you His Word so that you can have great results in your prayer life. Pray with confidence in the Word, knowing God loves you and will answer your prayers. Quote
In Genesis 1:27 God created man, and in Genesis 2:22
God created woman. God has always allow man to take full responsibility in his union between Adam and Eve. That was to never change. In Genesis 6:9 Noah walked with God; and in Genesis 9:8 God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him.
There is a devine order which was created by God for man to take leadership over the woman and it will never change.
There are a lot of men today that are not answering to this
call for their leadership, whether it is in the home, on the job,
or in the church.
Now as a church we are taught for everything go to God in
prayer. But, in order for us to do this we must first realize that
something is wrong, especially in the African American community where the majority of homes have the female as
the head of house hold.
The devil knows that if he could only attack the male then the
rest would follow and he would leave the rest of the family
vulnerable. Because united we stand and divided we fall.
The family is not a whole without both parents.
I am calling for a revival for our men to return to the devine order of leadership that God first created man to have.
I know when Jesus called Lazerus forth after he had been dead four days, and Lazerus came back to life. So I know if
Jesus can bring a dead man back to life I know if the believing church would pray for the will of God to be done we could raise a lot of these dead beat men today.
I pray in Jesus name. Amen Quote
Her husband had died. There was no way to fulfill her debts. Her creditors decided to take her two sons as slaves for payment of the obligations that still remained. She pleaded for assistance with the only man of God she knew.
"Is there anything in your house?" Elisha asked.
"Nothing at all," she said, "except a little oil."
Elisha then instructed her to go and collect all the empty jars that her neighbors might possess. "Ask for as many as you can," he instructed.
When the jars were collected, he instructed her to pour what little oil she had into the jars. The oil was more than enough to fill the jars. In fact, there was more oil than jars to fill. "Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left" (2 Kings 4:7b).
God often mixes faith with the tangible. The widow believed she had no resources to meet her need. God said she had more than enough resources. She did not see the one jar of oil as a resource. It did not become a resource until it was mixed with faith.
Her need was met when her faith was mixed with the practical step of going into the workplace to sell what she had in order to receive her needed income. In fact, there was so much income she was able to pay her debts and live on the money derived from the sale.
Quite often we forget that God works through commerce to provide for our needs. It is wrong to place total trust in commerce without faith in God. God often requires simple obedience to an act that seems ridiculous to the logical mind. It is this faith mixed with the practical that God honors.
Do you have a problem that is perplexing to you? Do you see no way of meeting your need? God may have already given you the skills and talents to meet your need.
However, He may be waiting for you to mix them with faith. Ask God to show you the steps necessary to solve your problem. Be willing to take the next step. Quote
